Sacred Ground
invites you

The Way of the
Hummingbird

Move with Precision.
Remember Your Natural Way.

February 5 – 8, 2027 Sacred Ground, Ōkato, Taranaki

There comes a point where growth isn’t about doing more…
it’s about relating differently to what’s already here.

Less force. Less holding.
A more natural way of moving through life.

The Way of the Hummingbird is the space to return to that.

Not by pushing. Not by becoming someone else.
But by softening the ways you’ve been holding yourself
in pressure instead of presence.

You are not here to force life.
You are here to move with it

Like the hummingbird, there is a different way available to you. A way that is responsive, precise, and deeply attuned to what is here.

This retreat is that space. A place to step out of effort and into a more natural rhythm — reconnecting with what nourishes you, and releasing what doesn’t.

“This retreat felt really generous and nurturing, beautiful location, food and people. It was also very human with lots of fun and connection and lots of expression.”
Past Retreat Guest

This retreat is for you if you can feel that something is ready to shift. Not dramatically — but deeply. A quiet knowing that there is a more natural way to move through your life.

It’s for those who feel tired of holding everything together, or moving through life with constant effort.

It’s for those drawn to grounded, deeply held spaces, and ready to trust themselves more — their body, their intuition, their direction.

You don’t need to be “spiritual.” You don’t need experience with this work. You just need a willingness to show up honestly.

Across four days of breath,
somatic practice, and stillness

This is grounded, body-led work. We’re not bypassing, we’re not escaping — we are shifting how you meet your life, from pressure into presence.

I

Release

We begin by releasing pressure held in the body and nervous system. The layers of tension and holding begin to soften, creating space for something different to emerge.

II

Soften

From here, we unwind patterns of control, over-efforting, and bracing. You reconnect with your body and begin to relate to life with more openness and responsiveness.

III

Move

Finally, we integrate a new way of moving through life — one that is lighter, more precise, and guided by what truly nourishes you. This becomes something you live, not just experience.

“A place where every part of you is welcome, and it really was! It was a joy to feel myself soften and come back home to myself in just a few days.”
